- Will Fund
- Scanner.
- Hulsizer Brass Plaque. Jordan will write proposal.
- Chocolate fountain.
- Refrigerator shelves for the kitchen.
- Vacuums: Jonas wrote proposal.
- PS4 + games: Edbert wrote proposal.
- Arcade (http://www.costco.com/Chicago-Gaming-Ultimate-Arcade-3-Classic.product.11738467.html): Emailed Ming to write a proposal.
- Alumni Event
- Gift: flash drives. Won't order anything additional if we have flash drives.
- Thirsty Ear will provide bartender service.
- Officer Positions
- We have 58 including AHEC.
- 29 people will need a lease contingent on their being Officer.
- Social & Cultural = Events Committee (8-10 people with one coordinating chair)
- Inventory: add another person. Add grills, vacuums, courtyard stuff, plants. Remove Plants & Garden Officer.
- Community Officer: Garden is their responsibility.
- Publicity: Social media + collated email advertisements.
- Dedicated webmaster/software developer on Tech Committee (total 3 ppl).
- Music Officer (take care of music room, coordinate music events), artwork and theater officer, cultural outreach coordinator to work with brunch/coffee to host culturally themed events, Alumni Outreach and Common Space Coordinator (or a Common Space Officer/residential life coordinator), add a coffee hour shopper on coffee hour committee, brings us to a total of 52 + 5 (ahec).
- Continuing Status
- Current policy for Officers is: if they served 5 terms (summer = 1/2 term, IAP = 0) then they can get continuing status.
- Want to revise this policy because some Officers are not doing their job. According to housing it needs to be exceptional service in order to get continuing status.
- How can we help motivate Officers?
- Need to set expectations for incoming Officers.
