- Ashdown Community Garden
- Rachel (one of our residents for the summer) came to show interest in the garden
- Current status: Grounds said OK, waiting for good locations
- Irrigation determines where we can and can't have a garden
- If there are too many pipes in the area, we can have a raised garden bed
- Andy will check with Denise about updates
- Officer proposals and budget
- Six Flags trip requested more money than their budget allowed for
- Additional funding application due dates are coming up
- Ashdown alumni event
- June 9th lunch with the alumni
- Thirsty Ear is also hosting an event
- Orientation plans
- Welcome kits

- Something specialized from the floor officer (note or card maybe?)
- Quiz about rules of ashdown
- Education about Ashdown policy
- Should come from AHEC not orientation committee
- Covers main points like:
- Don't open your door to the hallway if you make smoke while cooking
- No smoking
- Don't steal stuff
- A required dinner to talk about rules is 'not cool'
- We can require a form to be signed when you get your keys
- Fish Tank
- There are no fish currently in the tank
- The living things committee is trying to figure out what is going on before any more fish are added to the tank
- Officer retreat plans
- We are planning a very special event for the officers
- E-mails will be sent very soon
- Monday evening will be the deadline for RSVP'ing
- Volleyball Net
- There is a broken elastic band in the net
- The athletics officer needs to order a replacement

- They are ordered and should be here by next week
