Present: AHEC 10 - minus Amanda and Hunter
chairs or not?
Ann - chairs are good to help with planning.
Matt- size. Harder to have good meeting. Helps us to set our overall vision and we can communicate this with them later.
Kunle - tradeoff between getting to know each other and coming up with an effective plan for next year.
Are there issues with inviting others? We need to come up with a plan for the year ahead first. Perhaps best we meet with them before... ask them for things they might want to see in the new year and then talk about it at the retreat.
Brunch needs to upfront quite a bit of money - a lot of money by regular standards.
Arghavan said some vendor (US Foods and delivery) don't access credit cards. Petty cash account? No.
Have an open purchase order with the company? How does that work? Problem - itcan be slow and that might make small vendors upset.
Kay to check with Arghavan to make sure of the policy as well as the company
Pick a date. Amanda to organize it.
Kunle: gave summary of the GSC meeting he attended last week. Notable thing was Medical to eliminate overnight care.
Amanda spoke about it being a bad idea. Medical mentioned they would run the plan in parallel before switching over.
Bulletin board not organized. Needs to be.
Boards can also be made for "for sale" ads with dates and period for which it should be up printed on poster - otherwise it would be removed.
Brandon - we can all pitch in with making sure the Ashdown board on the first floor is kept up to date. Take out old posters. Will only take you a minute.
Monitors: Under publicity control? To be discussed later (at the retreat at Endicott).
Hockey view? Not worth it. Viewers can go into the thirsty to watch it.
How about under-21 residents? Will the thirsty allow them with wristbands?
Matt - doubt it.
